Goal for November: 50,000
The novel moves forward at a steady pace. I added almost 12,000 words this last week and advanced the story deep into Act II.
However, I discovered some fairly noticeable holes in my carefully constructed outline. Not exactly plot breaking, but big enough that you’d notice something was missing.
On Saturday I updated the remaining outline to address the problem. It cost me a day of writing, but the time spent fixing it now will be time saved in editing. I’m still finding smaller holes, which I’ve marked with a “Fix this!” note for later. Those can wait.
For now, I keep typing.
